Barry was recently selected as one of the A.A.L.P. (Advanced Africulture Leadership Program) delegates. Barry and Joan attended the Ju- ly 9-11 A ALP. seminar on Com- munication, Motivation, and Con- fidence, held at Sudbury. Includ- od in the program were three ex- collent motivational speakers, tours of Inco and Science Nor- thand an evening Boat Cruise on Lake Ramsay. The A.A.L.P. was initiated by the Ontario Federa- tion of Agriculture, the Founda- tion for Rural Living, the Univer- sity of Guelph, and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Funding comes from both the public and private sectors as well as the participants. The program will cover a total of 56 days over the next 2 years and is designed to develop the leadership skills of the participants who are involved in agricultural businesses and organizations. Barry is employed tario as a Credit Advisor with the Farm Credit Corporation and is looking forward to the next A.AL.P. Seminar on Sept. 11-13 at the On- Hydro Orangeville. Lawrence and Gwen Malcolm visited family and friends in the Kingston, Ganonaque and Water- down, New York area this past week. They were pleased to spend time with the Jim Bilton family at their new nome in Delta, north of Centre near Im attends seminar Kingston. Arthur and Barbara Weir and son David, recently returned from a four week vacation tour- ing Alberta and British Columbia.
