We'll all be thinking of you in the next weeks. Merv and Ilene Pugh spent the long weekend with friends Paul and Jerry Espie at Bitter Lake in - the Haliburton Highlands. The weather was cool but a good time was had by all. Ilene had received a letter from Earlene Armstrong. She misses everyone in Prince Albert and would love to hear from anyone. Sandra Smith again celebrated her 29th birthday while watching her daughter Erin play soccer in Pickering. Erin played very well for her mom - although she left the field limping & bruised. Les and Grace Beacock had their grandson Craig Beacock and his friend Dan Lavereau for the weekend. Congratulations to Marie and Harry Carnegie on celebrating their 45th anniversary last week. What a great get-together that must have been!! There was another big celebra- tion at the community centre. Mr. Gordon Clark's father celebrated his 90th birthday. All of Prince Albert would like to wish him many more. He must be a wonderful person. I know his son is. Gordon always has a friendly smile on his face. On Saturday afternoon Jim and Judy Gibson entertained relatives and friends at a wedding recep- tion for their daughter Suzanne and husband Don of London. Congratulations to Robert Hill and Carolyn Dixon who were married Friday evening in a quiet family ceremony in Greenbank United Church. The newly weds are living in Oshawa until their home is finished. The reception at the Polish Hall will follow next Saturday night. We wish them well. Mr. Trevour Watson visited with the Armour McMillans recently. There was a surprise silver an- niversary for Pat and Bill McMillan and a 60th celebration for Pat's parents Sunday after- noon in Uxbridge. : Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stone at- tended a Leask Clan gathering in Scotland and have been visiting friends in northern England and Scotland for the past month.
