Opening the Fair were Auxiliary president Elaine Buchanen (far left) with past president Eleanor Davidson and Gweneth Thompson and Vera Hunt, just two of the many people who had items for _ sale. Mrs. Allen Martyn's daughter in Willowdale has been experien- cing much physical discomfort since Oct. which resulted in surgery and further treatments. We trust this will bring complete recovery and happier days for her and her family. Thursday May 4, there will be another evening meeting for the Christian Women's Organization. Mrs. Reta Reader spent the weekend and a few days in Bar- rie with her widowed sister. The "Head" U.C.W. will meet at the Scugog United Church on Wed. May 3 with Manchester and Grace U.C.W.'s as their guests. 'A guest speaker will be Mrs. Jackie Nuen from Port Hope. She will bring interesting experiences from her work in Zambia. The "Golden Slippers" may also bring some entertainment. In order to make the men in this group feel comfortable, other husbands are also welcome to attend. The collection at this meeting will probably go toward "World Relief" for which there is a great need from earth quakes and floods. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrens Stanois of Toronto. i Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was radiant in a full-length crystal organ- za gown with silk bodice. She carried a bouquet of gardenias, trimmed with stephonitas and ivy. The attendants were nieces of the bride and groom. Karen Stanois, Tricia lordanis and Stacie lordanis were darling in their peach gowns, with lace trim. Their bouquets were pink and ivory roses accented with fresia and ivy. * The groom was handsome in a black tuxedo. His attendants were Jim Stanois, best man and Tony lordanis acted as second best man. The young nephews of the bride and groom, Nicholas lordanis and Paul Stanois were handsome in their formal attire of tails. The reception was held at All Saints Cultural Centre, in Willowdale. The Master of Ceremonies was Jim Stanois, brother of the groom. The happy couple honeymooned in Vancouver. They are presently residing in Scarborough.
