Wedding Anniversary Celebrated Roy and Doris Nottingham of Caesarea, were entertained by their family on the occasion of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, held on Saturday, April 22, in the Masonic Hall, Port Perry, with many relatives, friends and neighbours present for the happy event. A lovely tea prepared and served by Blue Ray Chapter, OES, was enjoyed, and later, a delicious roast beef dinner for ap- proximately 50 family members. Out of town guests were present from Owen Sound, Lindsay and Combermere, Orangeville, Whit- by, Oshawa and Uxbridge. Roy and Doris also celebrated their Anniversary in Florida, when they were wined and dined at Bridge's Restaurant by 14 close friends on April 9. On April 12, the actual date, about 75 friends from Midway Mobile Home Park at- tended a social hour at the Rec. Hall where anniversary cake and punch were served. Truly an an- niversary never to be forgotten! A Delightful Holiday Bill and Kay Ingram of Nestleton, have recently returned from an interesting winter in Southern States. They were in Winter Haven, Florida, for a period of three months, then travelled in their R.V. to Califor- nia, seeing many beautiful places of interest along the way. The weather was perfect. Birthday Celebration Best wishes to a great lady, Aunt Jane Boyes of Carnduff, Sask., who turned 93 on April 24th, and when asked by her niece Neta Fish, how old she was, she answered smartly "as young as my little finger and as old as my teeth!' A tremendous lady, bak- ing her own bread and making her own butter, besides everything else, she is a great friend and neighbour, well known for her generous ways, sharing with others! Joe Anne B. came in third with 60. The lunch was served by Irene Train. Three tied for the most lone hands for April - Dorothy Ed- wards, Norman Rohrer and Sharon Smith with 11.
