Early in the second period Ryan McQuade got us on the board with assists from Leigh McClymont and Russell Brown. Ajax got one more goal in the second but the third belonged tous. Nicholas Pelyk scored our se- cond goal by flipping the puck over the Ajax goalie who had sprawled to block a hard shot by Greg Bruton. 'Greg scored the next two goals with the assists go- ing to Nicholas. The final score was 6-4 for Ajax, in what turned out to be a fast exciting game thanks to a fine performance by Joel Phoenix in goal and strong checking by Kam Cooper and Ken Ellis. The MVP award for our team went to Ryan McQuade. Our second game was on Satur- day against Mitchell Trucking from Brooklin. We made only one 'change to our lineup for this game.
