Caesarea Euchre The high score for the Wed. evening card game at the Caesarea Hall was Norman Rohrer with 78. Second in line was Jim Emerton with 77. Low score was Faith Lawrence with 53. A nice lunch was prepared and served by Eileen Owens! Next Wednesday evening for another exciting game. Caesarea Community Church A very good attendance for this past Sunday, with Rev. Dr. W.H. Crawford conducting the service. Harry Keizebrink brought the fine message on "Choose You This Day" based on Joshua. Norm Boynton received the offering. Epsom Utica U.C.W. will meet in Epsom's renovated "Education Wing" for the April meeting April 11 at 1:00 p.m. for dessert and coffee. April 24th to 28th is Education Week. The children at Epsom are busy preparing a musical, "Alice in Wonderland" to be presented during Education Week at Utica Hall April 27th at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, April 1st at 8:00 p.m. at Epsom Church there was such a happy time. It was the monthly meeting of the Social Club and U.C.W. ladies made pies, pies, pies. The programme was a talent show. All the church organizations from toddlers to oldsters took part. The U.C.W. put on a re-cycled hat show with Lucienne Ross as commentator, then they did a short tap-dance. Our April Fool Birthday Boy played his Trombone and that wonderful quintette of men made beautiful music. The shadow play was really well done. The little trio sang beautifully. The violin solo much enjoyed, and a young gentleman sang beautifully. I can't mention all the acts. Faye had good contests, then eyeryone, but everyone enjoyed the pie and cupcakes, coffee and apple juice. Thanks to our hosts Keith and Faye Ashton, & Gord and Jill Postma. Church will be at Epsom until further notice. Work is being done at Utica Church. Come to Epsom 11:15 Sunday morning. Congratulations to Glenn Page who received two merit cer- tificates at the Ontario Jazz Festival. These certificates are awards to individuals for outstan- ding talent and achievement displayed through the festival in all catagories. Port Perry High School received three awards - one gold and two silver for the catagories they entered. Glenn plays in the Rhythm Sec- tion of Port Perry's Jazzmerize. They are now preparing for the "Nationals" which will be held in Toronto May 17 - 21. Our best wishes from the community.
