Plans are being finalized for the fundraising dance towards the improvements at the Recreation Centre. This dance will be held on Friday night, March 10. Get your tickets before Friday if possible to assist with the planning. The com- munity is urged to support this event. In the Floor Hockey the Yellow team defeated the Red Teams 8-7. Scoring for the Yellows were Brad Morton 4, Deryk Campbell and Dillon Weber. Scorers for the Reds were Johnathon McCourt, Jason Logan, Doug Lynde, Janelle Buller, Brennan Malcolm. In The Seniors in a high scoring game the Bruins defeated the Canadians 12-11. Mike Hepburn scored 8 goals with Jamie Wade 2, Brad Vokins and Andrew Avis. This was a three day workshop held at the Holiday Inn in Etobicoke. Various topics were addressed including nutrition issues related to adolescents influences of media on weight control and fitness status, how to evaluate credible sources of nutrition information, food additives, irradiation and methods of safe food handling. The forum also included a tour of General Foods and its test kit- chens.
