The lone marker for Crandell's was Dave Dickson with both J & D's goals. Assisting on Dave's goals were Richie LeFort, Larry Courtice, and Ken Jeffrey. The lone goal getter for Blan- chard's was Mark Jobb with both goals, assists to Dave Milton and Ron Zaparanuik. Game two was a one sided con- test in which first place Larocque Electric easily skated past Sport- sland by a 7-1 score. Leading the way for Larocque was Don MacDonald with 4 goals and 1 assist. Also scoring for Larocque were Dave Mann 1 goal, 1 assist, Bob McEachern 1 goal, 1 assist, and Bart Wagar 1 goal. Adding assists were Bill Bridge with 4, Bruce Smith 2, and Colin Asselstine with one. Scoring for Anderson's were Doug Bronson 2 goals, 2 assists, Denzil Irving 2 goals, 1 assist, Bob Beveridge 2 goals, 1 assist, Gary Lance 1 goal, 3 assists, and Dick Martin 1 goal. Helping out were Lee Steeves 2 assists, John Robertson 2 assists, Jim Beatty and Bill Hurst 1 a piece. Fighting for Norton's were Fred Moffat 2 goals, 1 assist, and Doug Suppelsa 1 goal. Green Machine wins one 5-2 The Malmont Farm Atom A's were fabulous Friday night as they faced off against Stouffville and the team played one of it's best games of the season! Port Perry opened up the scor- ing in the 1st period as Kenton LeFort blasted the puck upstairs beating the Stouffville netminder assisted by fellow linesman Kirk Swain & Jay Tredway. Nice play boys! Although Port had many opportunities to score, their 2nd goal did not come till late in the 2nd period as Craig Laird, this time, tucked the puck in the cor- ner after circling the net. Picking up well earned assists were wingmen Jeremy Geer and Tom- my Chambers. The 3rd period saw defenceman Jay King race up the ice through the Stouffville defence and blast in No. 3 working together with wingman Jay Tredway. Two minutes later Stouffville snuck one in but Port's Craig Laird 'answered back with his second of the night -- a beautiful lone effort goal. Port's final goal of the game came off the stick of Kenton LeFort who played an excellent fast skating game. Good game Kenton! Picking up the assists were Ian McCready & Jay King who played excellent defence as did Billy Zaparanuik and Matt Morris. Ian Shrigley & Scott Prechitko once again played stand-up goaltending. Way to go boys! Stouffville got one last goal late in the period but the Green Machine came out the hands- down winner 5-2. Outstanding game team! Port's next game is Friday night at 8:00 p.m. at home! Novice House League results There were two games played in the Novice House League on December 5, and both were high- scoring affairs. Re-Max doubled Port Perry Printing 6-3 and Davids Hairsty- ling prevailed over Van Camp Contracting by a 5-3 score. It would appear that with the season about wo months old, the Novice HL players are starting to get their sights adjusted with those shots on goal. Port Perry Printing jumped into a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Adam Mahaffey and Kevin Hill, but Re-Max went to work in the final two period for the 6-3 win. Alex Dell had two in the win- ing cause with singles to Tom Keeble, Ian Parliament and Tyler Wooten. Corey Branton had one for the Printers. Wyatt Park chipped in with two assists. The official scorc-sheet shows Shane Norton getting a goal for Re-Max, but he is also listed as the goalie. Interesting. In Davids Hairstyling 5-3 win over Van Camp, Jay Fletcher had a hat-trick and Glen McCready scored twice. Scott Harper had three assists. For Van Camp, Blayne Kin- nunen, Brad Johnston, and Shane Savage did the scoring. Heather Tredway tended goal for Davids in the winning effort. In the game played December 7, Van Camp Contracting came out with guns blazing, and the players played very well in defeat- ing IGA by a score of 9-2. Blayne Kinnunen was the big shooter in this one with five goals for Van Camp, and Shane Savage picked up two. Ryan Puckrin and Aaron Chambers chipped in with a goal each. The IGA boys gave it a good effort, but it was just one of those games. Danny Lyons popped both goals for his team. Scott Jeffries had two assists and Troy Camp- bell also had an assist. Members of the Blackstock and District Lions Club held a door-to-door can- vass recently and raised $2500 for the Durham York CNIB. Club president Ray Wright and fund raising chairman presented the cheque last week to CNIB ad- ministrator Lul Greco and secretary-driver Betty Cascoigne. Mr. Greco had high words of praise for the fund-raising efforts of the Blackstock and District Lions, and sald the money will be put to good use by the CNIB.
