The Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Auxiliary is holding their Xmas Bazaar this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Trinity United Church, Uxbridge. Lunch is serv- ed from 11:30a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at a cost of $5.00. The U.C.W. will meet a Daheim Nursing Home on Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 7 p.m. for the residents' bir- thday party and then return to Epsom Church for the regular 'meeting to start at 8 pm. A reminder to the members that Roll Call is to be answered with a gift for the men at Fred Victor Mission. There were 13 tables of euchre on Friday evening in the Hall with the following coming away win- ners: Ladies 1st Bea Harrison, 2nd Ezella Harwood and 3rd Aileen Snooks. For the Men 1st Vera Brown, 2nd Murray Geer and 3rd Ron Harrison. Freeze-out winners were Irwin Kydd and Iva Yake, Margaret Gall and Velma Ross were 2nd. Draw winners were Edna Meyers, Vera Brown and Hardy Noble. There will be another euchre in two weeks time when all will be welcomed. Sympathy of the community to Margaret Payne and family in their bereavement of Mr. Lloyd Payne who passed away in Port Perry Hospital last week. Sympathy also to the Russell Lindsey famiy in the loss of his brother Robert Lindsey of Whitby.
