GORD LEWIS Hospital staff kick off fund-raising Staff fundraising efforts at Community Memorial Hospital were officially kicked off at noon on Wednesday, October 5 when Campaign Committee member Howard Hall joined Hospital staff in a '"Thanks4Giving" celebra- tion. Planned around a Thanksgiving theme, complete with costumes, the luncheon marked the starting point of a staff campaign to raise $40,000 towards the Hospitals overall fun- draising goal of $2 million. In the cake decorating contest, the prize of a Thanksgiving turkey went to Sandy McCully HA ow eg yp, Gg Cogadl g FTT rr eas Bian ¥ Eight employees from Community Memorial Hospi- tal participated in the cake decorating contest held at the hospital last week. Winner of the first prize Thanksgiving turkey was "Mother" Sandy McCully seen here with hospital administrator David Brown. Following the judging 'staff members cut into the Iim- pressive cakes for a taste. Country CorNER CERAMICS whose cake was judged by staff to most closely resemble the plann- ed hospital expansion. A staff lunch, organized by Joan Hood of Versa Services, was enjoyed. The Hospital wishes to acknowledge with thanks, the contributions of the following in providing food for the luncheon.
