Keith and I hosted a "Carter- Seagrave's turkey dinner Thompson' family reunion Sun- day, Sept. 11 in honour of my sister and brother-in-law, Marion & Donald Peters from Lake Havasu City, Arizona, who have been visiting with us this past week. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon with lots of reminiscing and pictures taken. Congratulations to the Green- bank Bantam Allstars for placing 2nd in their league tournament in Newmarket over the weekend. Seagrave Turkey Power will finish out the ball season this Saturday at the local ball park when they participate in their league tournament. Well folks - thats about it for this week. I hope everyone en- joyed the warm weekend. Our village sure is a pretty sight this fall season. Please give Ann San- diford a call next week at 985-9440. The Senior Citizens Club meeting news by E. Irvine The Senior Citizens held their first meeting of a new year with our new president, Caroline Bright, with two new members. We had two minutes silence for J. Poots and Flossie Ploughman followed by the singing of O'Canada. Mr. Howard Hall spoke to us about the way the hall was to be used. Also a talk by John Greenwood, about the USCO. After the meeting closed, everyone visited. At five o'clock we all sat down to a pot luck sup- AMT 600. New John Deere per with a good crowd.
