End of another season for By Carolyn Best, President As our Minor Softball season comes to an end I would like to thank all the sponsors, convenors and coaches for making this year a very enjoyable season for almost 500 boys and girls in Port Perry. The convenors Lynn Jones, Eric Donnelly, Gordie Ireland, Nancy Morden, Jacki Little and Ric Pearce did an excellent job of arranging schedules and the year end tournaments and for some - coaching as well. To all the coaches, I take my hat off to you. I know the girls and boys had fun as well as learning the fundamen- tals of the game. A special thanks to Larry, Grant, Ray, Ron, Rob and Paul for travelling with our rep. teams. This is very time con- suming but I know you have represented Port Perry well in every town you visited.
