Fortunately the rain held off, but unfortunately not enough players showed up to play. Therefore the game between Classic Photos and the Royal Canadian Legion was cancelled due to this problem. The Port Perry Star team though had enough players and won their. game against Van Camp Con- struction by default. Next weeks games become crucial as Van Camp and Port Perry Star are tied for first place with only one game left in the regular season. ATOM DIVISION In Atom play Rent and Save, unable to field enough players, had to default the game against Prestige Hair. The only game played last week was Gord Lewis Motors taking on Taylor Ford Mercury. The game was well played by both teams, with Gord Lewis coming out on top by a score of 4-2. Robbie Murphy led the way with three goals and a single going to Kevin Hobbs. Scor- ing for Taylor Ford were Tommy Chambers and John Schewaga. Tomorrow's games (31st) will be the last of the regular season and everyone will be gearing up for Cup Day scheduled for Sept. 10th. Please make sure you have this noted on your calendar so the players won't miss out on a fun "day at the soccer fields.
