The Distress Centre of Durham Region is hosting it's 3rd annual fundraiser. The Walk-A-Dog-Athon will be held June 11, 1988 at 10:00 a.m., Darlington Provincial Park. The Distress Centre is funded by the United Way, corporate con- tributions, private donations and their own Walk-A-Dog-Athon. Last year $2000.00 was raised at the walk. With your help even "more money can be raised! The money raised is used to help run the Centre, to promote the service the Centre offers, and to encourage people to become volunteers.
