This will be the third visit of this exciting group - those who have enjoyed their previous perfor- mances will attest to their excellence. The young people who have been at university and colleges are gradually returning to their homes as their courses and ex- aminations are over. Welcome back, folks and have a great and profitable summer. On Friday evening Marion Larmer hosted a bridal shower in honour of bride-to-be Shelley Henderson. On Sunday the Ferguson clan gathered at the Nestleton Hall for a miscellaneous shower for Shelly and her groom Alan Ferguson. As is the usual for such events, great food and a pleasant time of visiting accompanied both showers. Don't forget the Port Perry Auxiliary Spring Tea on this Saturday, April 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the Latcham Centre. Note the change of time and form in that lunch will be served instead of the afternoon tea as in former years. Sympathy is extended to Bill and Ruth Marconi on the recent passing of Bill's mother in Toronto. At the United Church the Sacra- ment of Baptism was conducted by the Minister Rev. D. Davis when the following children were presented Elyse Rachael daughter of Julia and Lloyd Jamieson, Joshua John, son of Betty and John Dunk and Michael Wright, son of Janet and Dale VanCamp. Confirmation on Pro- fession of Faith made Sheryl Gibson, Laura Gilbank and Jill VanCamp members of the church. In addition four members were received by transfer. Mavis Brodie, Anna McLaughlin and Harold and Jean Kyte. It was a very special service. On Thursday, May 12 the Blackstock Co-op Nursery School will be holding the annual Open House and registration from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. This will also com- memorate their 10th year in operation so a celebration is planned. At left Is skip Scott Howey with Dianne Goreski, Garnet Warriner, Glen James, Ken Jeffrey and Ken Goreskl. In the B Division, sponsored by Gilbeys, a rink from Woodville took 'home a cheque for $400. At left Is bonspiel chairman Ken Goreski presenting cheque to David Wilson, Gary Jordan, John Harris and Paul Ot- ter.
