Trevor Watson was dinner guest with Mr. and Mrs. Armour McMillan on Tuesday. A good turn-out to help Mrs. Velma Foster celebrate her 80th birthday on Saturday. Guests in- cluded Lloyd Lees of Toronto. Congratulations Velma from friends of Greenbank. Don't forget the shower on Sat- urday April 30th for Sharon Bay- lis at her home at 2 p.m. Ladies, please bring lunch. Women's Institute meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Don McKean. Following our annual meeting a very interesting contest completed our plrogram. We thank Helen for the use of her home once more. Margaret and Jack Cou- perthwaite met a lot of old friends at the 80th birthday celebration of Bob Armerod's at Newmarket on 9 ~ Sunday, returning 0 a 90th birthday celebration of Mr. Gour- lie in Epsom. Visitors at the McKean's home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shadlock and Helen's daughter Penny. Port Pery Hospital Auxiliary spring fair is being held April 30th at Latcham Centre from 11:30 a.m. Any donations grate- fully received with the usual lables, baking, knitting, scwing, white elephant etc. Don't forget April 30th, help our local hospi- tal. A blood clinic is being held in the Uxbridge High School May 9th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. As it is Nurse's Week this clinic is sponsored by the Uxbridge nurses. Remember to come and give the "gift of life." Bring a friend! Please note change of place and date. T-Ball for five and six year olds will be starting up on Thursday May 5 at the park, but parents are asked to note the time change. Due to the necessity of having the T-Ball area clear when the big dia- mond is being: used, the time for T-Ball is being changed to 6 p.m. We are sorry for any inconven- ience this causes, but the change was unavoidable. : Don't forget Arbour Day at the Park--all who can help clean up the park would be appreciated. The next Teen Dance at Green- bank Hall will be held on May 6th, 7:30-11:30 p.m. Rebel D.J. will supply music and as usual pop and chips will be available. This is an adult supervised event.
