On Wed. they played in Little Britain and came home victorious 3-0. This seemed to be Ricky Olaisen's night to shine as he scored all three goals. Although Ricky scored these goals they were all made possible by the excellent passes from Graham Holt with 2 assists and Jeff Vernon and Matt Morris with 1 each. Good team work guys. On Sat. night Orono came to town but had to settle for a 0-0 tie with Port. As the 0-0 score might indicate both teams played extremely well with no lucky breaks for either Omemee and then they are off to a tournament in Thornbury this weekend. Good luck guys! "The Pineridge Sports Atom No. 2 team had to settle for 1 win and 2 losses in playoffs On Wed. night Millbrook beat us 3-1 with 2 of their goals scored on power-plays and one shorthanded. Port's lone goal assisted by Craig Laird saw Ian Shrigley catch the corner of the net to tie the game up but Millbrook got 2 more to give us our first loss. Even though Port lost this one they played a very strong game as the game was tied until the Jast 4 minutes of the game. On Sat. night Port Perry beat the team from Omemee 2-1. Omemee got on the board first the last 2 minutes of the third period when Ryan Williams found the rebound from Daryl Bourgeois stick and popped it in- to the net giving Port a 2-1 win. On Sun. Port Perry lost their se- cond game to Millbrook by a score of 6-1. Port's lone goal came in the se- cond period when Graham Holt made a rush on the net shot the puck, a scramble resulted and Ricky Olaisen backhanded it into the net.
