TT NINN TTINTTITIIN 24 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, February 2, 1988 - Pee Wee B's hot in playoffs, tournament The fired up Stone Realty Pee Wees started their playoffs in Orono last Monday night and came home 6-4 winners. Sean McEnaney held the hot hand for Port as he scored 4 goals while Peter King and Jody Logan each scored once. Lindsay Parry, Bill Sandiford, Chad Gar- vock, Adam Johnston, Corey Bricknell and Mike Sluggett all pick- ed up one assist. 'Special mention should go to Sean's linemates Bill Sandiford and Lindsay Parry v'ho also did an ex- cellent job in the corners and along the bodrds.whicn cllowed Sean to work his magic. Also, Matt Willetts was strong bet- ween the pipes coming up with the big saves when needed. On Friday night the boys travell- ed to Little Britain for game 2 of ° their round robin playoff series. The Stone gang controlled this game Petites win 6-2 Bruton's I.D.A. Petites are com- peting against Pickering to see who will go to Sudbury Easter weekend (April 1, 2, & 3) for the provincial finals. The first game in the best of two out of three preliminary series took place Sunday January 31 at the Port Perry Arena. Our Petites dominated the game from the opening free pass and won the game by a score of 6-2. Port's goaltender seen limited action due to good backchecking and the defence clearing t the ring out of their end. Oshawa tied the game before Chad Garvock regained the lead assisted by Adam Johnston. Adam then scored what proved to be the winn- ing goal on a pretty wrist shot with Jason Coutoulakis and Jeff Card picking up the assists. Sean McEnaney then finished off the Desautels, Mike Sluggett, Jason Coutoulakis, Ken Winslow, Chad Garvock, Peter King, Adam Johnston, Brendon Agnew, Jody Logan, Corey Bricknell and Billy Sandiford. Coaching staff at back are Sandy Garvock, Pete Christie and Jamie Jody Logan, final game MVP. At left is Oshawa Black Hawk captain Brad Reeson.
