Dec. 4th, at 8 p.m. at Epsom ® (Church, all are welcome at the 1 Social Club party, bring Christmas 4 goodies for lunch, a gift and a tree 4 ornament. Dec. 6th, at Epsom Church, 11:15 we will be joined by Singers of 1 Scugog, music not to be missed. Come and bring a friend or 1 neighbour Dec. 8th at 12 noon (note ! change of time). Potluck lunch and 4 programme, then in the evening join 1 the Pine Grove folks for music and 2 carols with Rev. Nancy Waterman 4 to bring the Christmas message at 4 8 p.m. All welcome. Dec. 12th at 6:30, W.I. potluck din- 1 ner at home of Mr. and Mrs. John 1 Bruce. Dec. 20th, Church at Epsom 11:15. Dec. 24th, Christmas Eve is Candlelight Service at Epsom ' Church at 8:30 p.m. There will be a cantata by our choirs and Christmas story from the Scriptures. Many enjoyed the bazaar and tea at Daheim on Saturday. The children enjoyed having their pic- ture taken with Santa Claus, and the lunch with Christmas pudding was a lovely idea - enjoyed by so many. All those handmade stocking stuf- © fers were wonderful and the bake | table was most tempting. On Thurs., Wayne and Cynthia Royle, Garry and Joanne Royle were guests of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ross to celebrate Garry and Wayne's birthday. Then on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Ross visited Marcus and Bessy Ross, Murray and Heather of Thorn- ton. Happy birthday to Heather who was pleased to have her grand- parents present for the birthday dinner. Our sympathy to Mrs. Frances Bowles who mourns the passing of her sister Marguerite who was laid to rest on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Evans had supper Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wilson. Ian and Marlene Archibald and children were Friday supper guests with her parents Marie and Earl Wilson. Several from the area attended the Milk Producers Banquet at Sunderland on Wed. evening. ar! and Elizabeth Taylor and Roy also Miss Ruth Taylor of Can- nington, also son John, his wife Wen- dy and daughter Heather of London, Wendy's parents and brother and his family enjoyed noon lunch on Sunday at Cullen's Gardens -- by the time they finished the place was a fairyland of beautiful lights. Keith and Faye Ashton spent Sat. evening visiting Ron.and Lorraine Brown at Greenbank. Don and Stella Asling were at their place near Emsdale, Friday and Saturday. On Sat. evening, Dr. Jerrold Asling and Joan arrived safely to visit - on their return from a trip to the Grand Cayman Islands. On Sunday, Jerrold's daughter Jan of Toronto joined them also Robert and Jamie Ashton for lunch. Kathy Baster was home from Hamilton for the weekend. Dec. 12th- The Women's Institute annual potluck dinner at 6:30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Bruce, followed by games and gifts. The regular meeting is Wed. Dec. 2nd, at the home of Mrs. Brethour. Dec. 8th at Epsom UCW we will have a guest. Lill Lindsay's brand new daughter-in-law Lynn Lindsay will give ua a flower arrangement demonstration. Everyone welcome. - Robert & Patricia Orm and Jef- frey & Elaine of Uxbridge were sup- per guests with Norman & Betty Tapscott.
