Time' Cloggers performed in 13 shows at the Royal Winter Fair in the Coliseum, Exhibition Park, Toronto, over the past two weeks. Six shows were on the Chrysler stage in the East Mezzanine Upper Level and the other seven shows were on the Foodland Ontario Stage. Taking part in the dancing were members- Carol, Karen & Tracy Doyle, Nestleton, Pat & Danielle Millson & Barry Van Camp of Blackstock, Sheree Gagnon, Oshawa, and Darryl Linnington, Teacher & Choreographer, Scar- bqrough. John Doyle was the capable M.C. for all the shows. Karen Knight and Olive Bedford of Sunderland were able to join the group for a couple of shows. "Step In Time' Cloggers, although mostly local people is an Oshawa based danced group. Many items of business were attended to, including a discussion regarding Operation Scugog Christmas boxes, a donation to Community Care and plans for the December meeting. After the minutes were read and ap- proved, the Roll Call 'a favourite hymn" was answered. Kay Notman presented the worship using Remembrance Day and Peace as the theme. Betty Headon used a "craft ses- sion' for the program. Refreshments and a social time were enjoyed as pine cone centre- pieces were fashioned and each lady took a lovely creation home from this productive evening. Guests Welcomed At Blue Ray Chapter For the Nov. meeting, guests from Oshawa and West Hill Chapters were warmly welcomed by Blue Ray Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron Karel & Jack Nottingham ... their first official meeting of the year. During the opening ceremonies the Flag was presented by acting Marshal Frances Westfall at the Altar, and Chaplain Judy Davidson led in Prayer. A brief business period was car- ried out. The Worthy Matron asked for volunteers to assist with the Masonic Dinner coming up on Dec. 8th ... and Conductress Debby Davis appealed to members to turn in lots of chocolate bars and other goodies for the Christmas Cheer baskets ... to 'be brought to the Dec. 10th meeting. Members were saddened to learn of the death of Sister Emma Cook of Oshawa, and a former resident of Port Perry. Emma, a Past Matron, was a most willing worker in the Order for many years and will be sadly missed. Members served lunch after the funeral, and ap- preciation was expressed by past Matron Elsie Wilbur. After the Chapter closed, Judy Davidson and Carol Morrow were responsible for the tempting refreshments, concluding an infor- mal, pleasant occasion.
