Fifty-four women were in at- tendance and enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner followed by both humorous and spiritual entertain- ment on the Christmas theme. Many thanks to Miss Melanie Lee, soloist and Miss Alissa Lee who accom- panied her on the keyboard for favouring us with most beautiful and traditional musical pumbers. It's always a pleasure to sit back and listen to these two young gals perform. Also, if you have made some Christmas goodies, you are asked to bring your recipe and a sample to share with the group. The UCW meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Gertrude Wanamaker on Monday, Dec. 7th. The ladies are asked to bring an un- wrapped gift to this meeting for the residents of the Port Perry Nursing Home, where the UCW will be enter- taining and providing cookies on Wed. John and Jessie Faber are the proud grandparents of a new grand- daughter, born on Nov. 18th weighing in at 9 1b. 4! oz. Jessica Victoria May is the daughter of Min- nie and Scott McNamnee of Oshawa.
