Friday night the boys played against Port Hope and came away on the top end with a score of 6-3. Scoring for Port were Tim Fitz- patrick 2 goals, 1 assist, Kevin Gray 1 goal, 1 assist, Daryl McEnaney 1 goal, Jeff Clarke 1 goal, Matthew McClelland 1 goal, Tommy Chambers 2 assists, Darryl Moase 1 assist, Todd Parry 1 assist and Brad Shanly 1 assist. On Saturday night the boys travelled to Oshawa and played against the Black Hawks of the Lit- tle N.H.L. The game saw plenty of passing and a good, strong defense for both teams in the first period. However, through the second period the Black Hawks took a lead of 2-0. We came back in the 3rd with a goal by Mat- thew McClelland assisted by Darryl Moase and Todd Parry. We ended the scoring for the game with a goal by Tim Fitz- patrick assisted by Kevin Gray. However, in this game we ended up on the short side with a score of 6-2. On Sunday we matched up with a team in Pickering Village. This game proved to be one sided as we took the lead in the 1st minute of play and never looked back winning with a score of 7-0. Continuing to play terrific hockey for Port were Tim Fitzpatrick with 2 goals, Kevin Gray 2 goals and Matt McClelland with 1 goal. Also scoring for Port was Daryl McEnaney and - Jeff Clarke. Assists were earned by Darryl Moase, Todd Parry, Brad Morten and Kent Johnston. Brandon Hammond and Mike Morden earned the shut-out.
