Scugog Hydro manager Larry Mabley said the power failure was due to too much amperage in main transmission lines from the Cher- rywood Station which kicked in the safety breakers. Liquor store robbed Durham Police report that the Li- quor Store on Main St. North in Ux- bridge was hit by thieves some time during the night of November 13. The thieves gained entry into the store by smashing through a plate glass window with stones. Police say a quantity of liquor was taken but they won't say the exact amount until store employees have a chance to complete an inventory. Damage to the window was estimated at $250.
