This excited team played a super passing and checking game. Mike Williams led the scoring for Scala with 2 goals and 1 assist,«Darryl Slack 2 goals, Jason Coutoulakis 2 goals, Rick Hutchinson 1 goal and 1 assist, Blair Prechitko 1 goal, Jerry Blackburn, Robbie Romano and Steve Parish with 1 assist each. Big 'V's' scoring was done by Ryan Pickard 2 goals and Todd Smart collecting the other goal en- ding the game. Consumers 5 Scala 1 The Consumers team took a quick lead in this game. Four of the 5 goals for Consumers were scored by Scott 'played an excellent me digging and checking all three >riods. Consumers other goal was scored by Steven Stiles. Day featured Emiels and Scala facing off in a very close game. Scala jumped to the lead on a goal by Jason Coutoulakis unassisted. Emiels fought back on the next two goals 1 by Chad Venning unassisted and the other by Mike Olaisen assisted by Adam McTag- gart Scala fought back again on a goal by Robbie Romano and assisted by Jerry Blackburn. Once again Emiels Mike Olaisen scored two more getting a well deserved hat- trick and was assisted by Adam McTaggart on one of these. Scala's Blair Prechitko banged in one more to narrow the margin and was assisted by Darryl Slack and Steve Parish, but it was not enough to catch the Kmiels team. Very good effort by both teams made for a real exciting game. BANTAM 1.LG.A. 10 Frank Real Estate 6 Frank had a three to zero lead at the 14:11 of the second period Frank's first two goals were scored unassisted by Alex Cranmer and Frank's third scored by Doug Adams assisted by Michael Butt and Brad Bricknell. [.G.A. then scored the next two goals both by Neil Mark with Daryl Alexander and Ken Smart picking up the assists. Frank's Alex Cranmer scored his hat trick and Doug Adams picked up the assist to make the score 4-2 after two periods of defensive hockey by both teams. The third period turned into a shooting match which the spectators witnessed 10 goals. [.G.A's Neil Mark 'found the mark' by scoring three goals and assisting twice in the third period. By the end of the third period Neil Mark had scored five goals assisted twice. His teammate Peter Brock scored twice and assisted on three goals, with singles going to Daryl Alexander, Chris McConnell, Ken Smart and assists going to Daryl Alexander, Ken Smart (2), John Woodward and Chris McConnell (2). Frank's snipers in the third period were Rob Vanuden and Brad Bricknell and Doug Adams picked up one assist. [.G.A. scored 8 goals and Franks 2 goals in the third period with [.G.A. coming out on top for three wins in a row. Emmerson Insurance 6 Swamp Garage 3 This game did not have the high scoring however, Emmerson had a three to zero lead by the 10:24 of the second period on goals by Darcy Head, Tim Kyte and Michael Toye with assists going to Vince Cris- cione, Sam Shewan and Darcy Head. Swamps Daryl Dutkewich scored unassisted at the 4:23 of the second periad to make the score 3-1 for Emmersons. Emmersons Vince Criscione scored next with the assist going to Aaron Cochrane and Glenn Whittaker. Swamp's Daryl Dutkewich scored the next two goals to give him his hat trick and make the score 4-3 in favour of Emmersons and the assist went to Mike Bardeleben and Don- nie Hughes. Although Swamp at- tempted to score the equalizer they were denied some when Emmer- sons scored two quick goals in the last three minutes - one by Sam Shewan and the other by Darcy Head with assists going to Michael Toye, Aaron Cochrane and Vince Criscione. Emmerson Insurance 4 1.LG.A. 1 The score of 4-1 in favour of Em- mersons does not reflect the margin of this game as both teams played exciting and displayed defensive hockey skills: Emmerson's Darcy Head scored unassisted at the 8:14 mark of the first period.
