Jason Phillips 2 goals, 2 assists, Jon Jamieson 1 goal, 1 assist, Chad Mit- ..chell 1 goal, 1 assist, Scott Swain 2 assist, Steven Cochrane 1 goal and Devon Blair 1 assist rounded out the Tripp scoring. The Lions scorers were Kevin McGrisken, Derek Anderson and Sean Gawley with assists going to Johnathon McCourt, Jeff Griffen and Jason Brown. Lake Scugog Lumber 2 Whitby Auto Wreckers 1 Goals by Darren Kinnunen and Jeremy Stevens led the lumber boys to a close win over Whitby. Picking up assists were Neil Hancock and Eric Vetter. Mike Leach scored for Auto with an assist going to Bradley Howcroft. Lions 7 Whitby Auto Wreckers 0 Kyle McClymont earned another shutout, his third of the season. The meeting was held to review the past season and to elect the new executive for the upcoming 1988 season. James Patterson led his team with 2 goals and 1 assist, with Darren Kinnunen scoring assisted by Jeff Jamieson. Tripp Real Estate 3 Whitby Auto Wreckers 2 On a rare Monday night game, Tripp Real Estate came away a winner on a late goal by Sandy Mark breaking a 2-2 tie. Scoring for Tripp was Jon Jamieson assisted by Scott Swain and Jason Phillips. Chris Vandermeer assisted by Steven Cochrane and Jason Phillips. For Whitby Mike Pashley assisted by Mike Leach and Mike Leach assisted by Steven Hiemstra. Congratulations to Sandy Mark who ran 2nd in the recent cross country championships (Ontario) in Toronto. PEE WEE Larocque 5 Consumers 1 Consumers Gas's Steven Stiles started the scoring in the second period assisted by Kevin Brown. The next five goals were scored by Larocque Electric. This was an ex- cellent game and the score gavé no indication of that. In the third period the first two goals for Larocque were scored by Mark Cosway from Chris Robinson and the other by Kevin Pearce assisted by Mark Cosway. The Consumers team had a bad turn of luck when their goalie An- drew Pereman got hurt and couldn't play the rest of the game so the Con- sumers team played the remainder of this game with six skaters. The next three goals were scored by Larocques Kevin Pearce 1 goal and 1 assist and the other two by Mark Cosway who also got an assist. Other assists went to Chris Robin- son and Mark Jansen. Emiels 5 Big "'V" 3 In this game the teams showed a lot of exciting hockey plays. Emiels Y Floor hockey In a very close game, the Blue Jays Floor Hockey Team in the Junior Division, edged the Beige Flyers by a score of 4 to 3. For the Blue Jays, Adam Jones and Jeff Whitfield shared the goaltending duties, coming up with big saves when necessary. The scorers were Jamie Sauter with 2 goals while Chris Langford and Graig Sheedy each got one. Also, a strong effort was given by John Berry, Jeffrey Gunn and Adam Jacabsen. Mark Sauter and Jason Gunn played well in net for the Flyers, while Matthew Koetze scored 2 goals and Andrew Jacabsen one. Greg Langford, Adam Youmans, Eddie Whitfield and Todd Larsen worked hard for their team. -After being down by a score of 5 to 2 at the end of the second period, the Green Giants fought back with 7 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to beat the Port Perry Red Wings by a score of 9 to 5 in senior play. Louis Whitfield played 2 strong periods in net for the Green Giants while Kevin Stewart scored 5 goals, Kevin Pearce 3 and Scott Prechitko 1 For the Red Wings, Blair Prechitko and Matthew Coyne shared the net minding while Wade Sheedy, playing in his first game, got a hat trick. Finishing off the scoring for the Red Wings, Todd Stewart and Pat Smith each scpred one goal: started the scoring on a goal by Aron Royle assisted by Blair Beveridge and Chad Venning. Big "V" came back to tie it on a goal by Corey Mason, Ian McClelland and Brad Lemieux drew the assists. Emiels Blair Beveridge got this go ahead goal combined with the hard work of Chad Venning and Aron Royle. Big "V's" lan McClelland dug deep to score this one and tie the game once again, Todd Smart pick- ing up the assist. Rick Olaisen then Great win This past weekend Bruton's I.D.A. Petites defeated Scarboro 10-7 in one of this years most exciting games. Scarboro registered the first goal at "10:51 but Port rallied within minutes to tie the game. The action went end to end with fine plays by both teams. Port led 5-2 at the end of the first period. The second period started with a flurry of action around the Scarboro net and Amy Parliament scoring at 14:49. The Bruton Petites led by 7-2 at one point. Scarboro narrowed Ports lead to two goals with less than three minutes to play. Within scored for Emiels to go ahead again and was unassisted. Big "V"' tied the game again on a goal by Kent Jamieson, assisted by Ryan Pickard. The next two goals went to Emiels to put the game away. One was scored by Aron Royle and assisted by Rick Olaison. The other by Blair Beveridge unassisted. Scala 8 Big "V2 On Wed. November 4, Scala won their first game of the year. Details for this game will follow next week. for Petites three minutes Port scored three more goals and Scarboro two with the game ending 10-7 in Ports favour. What a fine performance girls. Scoring for the day were Shannon Fox 3 goals, 2 assists, Amy Parlia- ment 4 goals, 4 assists, Lyndsay Dutkewich 2 goals, 2 assists, Michelle Fitzpatrick 1 goal, 2 assists, Brandy Harris 3 assists, Leea Kinnunen 2 assists.
