Electricity for boats In an effort to further enhance Port Perry as a tourist attraction, Township council is looking into the possibility of electrical hook-ups for boats at the docks along the waterfront. Township administrator Earl Cuddie said that in other com- munities which provides this service for boaters, the outlets are locked when not in use. A boater who wants electricity while docked overnight pays for the service. CKLY 910 now holds the exclusive Central Ontario rights for both Maple Leaf hockey and Toronto Blue Jays baseball. These rights cover all regular season games and playoff activity in that league, and extend south to Oshawa, west to Beaverton, north to Haliburton and east to Peterborough. Telemedia Broadcast Systems (TBS), owners of the Leaf's radio network rights, granted the rights to the Maples Leafs to CKLY because the station carries the other major TBS proper- ty, the Toronto Blue Jays. The TBS network broadcasts both Leaf and Blue Jay games live via satelite, from the various stadiums across North America.
