30 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, September 15, 1987 'In the Squirt Division of the Scugog Youth Soccer League, the team sponsored by Canadian Tire and coached by Frank Murphy and Bob Murphy won the trophy on Cup Day Saturday and also the league championship trophy. The team didn't allow a goal in three games on Cup Day winning by scores of 3-0, 1-0 and 4-0. Nice In the Atom Division, the team sponsored by R&S Leather Sales received league champion- ship pennants at the conclusion of Cup Day games on Saturday. Both the Senior and Junior Choirs will start practises this week, 8 p.m. on Thursday for the Seniors and the Juniors will practise after school on Thursday both at Epsom Church. All new members will be most welcome. The Youth Group will meet this Friday at 8 p.m. at the home of Ar- nold & Gail Kerry. This is for those 13 and over and if you need transportation, call the Kerry's. There will be a Bible Study Group at the home of Paul & Shirley Baster on Mondays at 9 p.m. All interested people will be made welcome. Following up on last week's bulletins: a reminder of the fun- draising dance for Block Parent Association on September 16 at Greenbank Hall.
