Have you ever seen so many smiling faces and stuffed toys in one place? Never, not even in the department store toy department just before Christmas. About 80 youngsters ages 3-12 brought their stuffed toys to the Vacaticn Bible School at Hope Reformed Church last week Obituaries for a stuffed animal pet show with ribbons and prizes for everyone. And did the kids enjoy it? Well, just look at the faces and answer that yourself. The Bible School was held for a week at the Church on Simcoe Street in Prince Albert. Charles Maitland Wilson Charles Maitland Wilson died peacefully at home in Port Perry on Thursday, July 16, 1987. He was in his eighty-sixth year. Charlie was born near Prospect, the third child of the late James and Marguerite Wilson. Two sisters, Gladys Blatch and Sadie Carnochan predeceased him. He is survived by one brother Hilliard Wilson of Uxbridge. Charlie attended Prospect School and Church. During his working years, he farmed at High Point, Scugog Island, Blackstock and in 1966 retired to Casimir Street, Port Perry. In June of 1928, he was married to Laura Clements of Seagrave. They had four children- Jean Stroud of Toronto, Mary Brinkman of Port Perry and Glen of Scugog Island. Clem died tragically in 1972. In June of 1979, Charlie married Marjory Moon, a friend of the fami- ly for some fifty plus years. Charlie enjoyed knowing and visiting with this extended family and is surviv- ed by four step-children Gwen Lake of Toronto, Harold Moon of Mississauga, Ila Williams and Clif- ford Moon of Port Perry. He leaves ten step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. The Funeral Service was held at Scugog Memorial Funeral Home on " Sunday, July 19th. Rev. Glenn 'Jackson officiated and interment was at Greenbank. G.S. Williams Grant Silas Williams passed away April 20, 1987 in his 57th year. Grant was born at Hampton, On- tario, March 17, 1931. Son of the late Lloyd Williams and Thelma McMullen. In 1953 he married Jean Cameron of Zion (Mitchell's Corners) and they built a home there where they resided until 1965. They re-located that year to R.R.2, Port Perry and became members of Prospect Church and community. Grant was a dedicated employee of General Motors of Canada and had a record of 36 years employ- ment with the company. Being an avid sports fan Grant played soccer and hockey for many years - then was totally devoted to P.P.M.H. and worked as their Presi- dent for six consecutive years. He received a lifetime membership to the club which was very special to him just prior to his death. Bethel Cemetery, He is survived by his wife Jean and children Sheila Chant - Shelley - Kevin - Joseph and Gregg. Also one sister Yvonne (Mrs. Fred Cowle) of Bowmanville and two brothers - - Glen Williams of Fergus, Ontario and Ross Williams of Hamilton, Ontario. Funeral Service conducted by Rev. G. Jackson was held April 24, 1987 from the Wagg-McDermott- Panabaker Funeral Home in Port Perry. Interment Zion Cemetery.
