Fathers for Justice meet Fathers For Justice is a newly formed self-help support group for non-custodial parents and grand- parents, who are having trouble with access to their children or grandchildren and support. We. provide members with counselling and can inform them of their rights, and their children's rights under the law. As well, we can keep them up to date on the latest legislation concerning parents and children's rights. Our next meeting will be a general' meeting to try and increase our ever-growing membership. We will - continue to have an open floor forum, and will try to answer any questions that members or prospec- tive members will have. Our meeting will be held August 6, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kinsmen Hall, Lilla Street, Port Perry. For further information, please call Terry or Donna Fice at (416) 986-5233. Sting remedy At the first sign of sunburn, pre- vent further exposure to the sun. Get indoors or into shade. Minor sun- burns can be treated with soothing water ---- a cool soak or a wet towel. Use prescription or commer- cial sunburn lotions when the pain is relieved. If the burn is severe, im- merse in cool water. Cover the burn area with a clean cloth and obtain medical aid. Bee and Wasp stings can be fatal. If the victim shows signs of allergic reaction (swelling around the eyes and mouth, hives, severe nausea and difficulty in breathing) seek medical aid immediately. Start ar- tificial respiration if necessary and take precautions to prevent shock (reassure victim, keep warm). If there is no allergic reaction to the sting, remove the stinger by us- ing tweezers. Remove the stinger by depressing the skin around the puncture. Avoid squeezing it. An- tihistamine creams, rubbing alcohol, a weak ammonia solution or a solution of bicarbonate of soda may be applied immediately. If the sting is in the mouth, give a mouthwash of 1 teaspoon of bicar- bonate of soda to a glass of water. If there is much swelling, place the victim'on his side and give him ice to suck. Obtain medica! aid.
