More Sports continued to njoy strong hitting and fielding as they "rolled up 23 runs while yielding just three to the Fantasy batsmen. The two champidashy semi finalist squads, Pelg' Mumblees and Whitby Royals e took home $100 cheques for their efforts. While the championship game between R.C. More Sports and Fan- tasy's was hardly in doubt, the same cannot be said of the Consolation final, which was played without any rain delay. Seagrave Steel Buildings and the Manvers Old-Timers hooked up in a great see-saw battle that featured some timely long ball hitting and" outstanding defense on both sides. Seagrave emerged the winner by a narrow 7-6 margin. In the bottom of the 7th and trailing 6-5, Seagrave's Dave Robinson got hold of a pitch and laced it down the left field line. The ball just stayed fair by a foot or so for a two run homer that gave Seagrave the Consolation win. Dave Taylor and Terry Fice also connected for homers for Seagrave. Le over the weekend.
