After Karen opened her many lovely gifts, she replied fittingly. A delightful social time was enjoyed. On Thursday two bus load of students and teachers of Cartwright High School spent a day at: the Toronto Science Centre where they studied topics of interest to their science programmes. Steven Kyte a student at Cartwright Central School in Blackstock has earned himself a trip to Stouffville March 24 to 'compete in the Lions public speaking competitions. He placed first in the Junior Division at competitions held recently in Blackstock. Steven's topic is "My Summer Job," an account of his work with his Dad at the saw mill. The meeting was open ed by the president followed by the singing of O'Canada. with a fair crowd. General business was in order.
