Seagrave and Area News by Marilyn Beacock The few inches of fluffy new snow that was received recently was a welcome sight to all of the winter sports enthusiasts who have been patiently waiting for ! Mother Nature to spread a thick blanket over all this ice that we seemed to have ac- cumulated this season. No doubt there will be lots more of the white stuff before April rolls around. Anna and Archie Walker enjoyed having their daughter Marianne and husband Bryan Hitchcock and sons from Grand Bend spend a couple of days with them recently and they celebrated a belated Christmas with each other. oo Another cause for celebration was UXBRIDGE the arrival home on Wed. Dec. 31st for Archie and Anna Walker of a brand new granddaughter. Miss Julie Ann. Walker made her ap- pearance into this world a bit earlier than expected weighing only 4 lbs 3 oz. She was transferred from Port Perry to Oshawa General Hospital soon after her birth on Nov. 30th and was returned to the Port Perry Hospital on Christmas Eve where she remained until New Years Eve when she was discharged. This tiny little princess is the first grand- daughter for Archie and-Anna and we are delighted to know she and her mommy are doing so well. Congratulations!
