Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Magill and Brian, Columbus, Mrs. Mamie Magill, Janetville, Mr. Paul McDowell, Caesarea, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chapman and Lori, Port Perry, Ed Harris, Port Perry Nur- sing Home, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mahaffy, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Edgerton, Ann and Lisa, Mr. and Mrs. Grant McLaughlin, Carla and Abby, Mr. and Mrs. Neil McLaughlin, Alex, Jessica and Blake, all of Blacks!" spent Christmas Day or parts of it with Mr. and Mrs. Murray Birkett, Judy and Joanne of Port Perry. Blackstock lost another of its older citizens with the passing of Mrs. Mae Wotten who has been a resident in Port Perry Nursing Home for several years. Mrs. Michener spent Christmas with daughter- Mr. and Mrs. 'Rushford before returning to Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ashenhurst and Mrs. Isabel Greenwood all of Mississauga visited with the Armor McMillans on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Beare enter- tained their family on Boxing Day. The Don McKeans and Glenn of Calgary motored to Stroud for Christmas Day with Larry Trelea- ven.' and family. They were joined by Penny Fitzgerald and daughter Kari. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Pelletier were dinner guests on Boxing Day, of Mrs. Muriel Gibson. We hope everyone has enjoyed the Christmas Lights this year! One home so beautifully lit is that of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timms near the village. The Sacrament of the Lord's Sup- per will be celebrated on January 4th at Greenbank Church. The Double Trio with Mary Jean Till, Marie Cookman, Jean Hunter, Valerie Hunter, Ruby Beare and Marie Foster sang beautifully at the church service on Sunday. Our U.C.W. is celebrating the 25th anniversary across Canada in 1987. Greenbank U.C.W. church service will be held on January 18th. The guest speaker will be Shelley Wright of Oshawa. Sunday guests at the McKeons were son David and his boys Jamie and Bryon, also Mr. and Mrs. Dale WEDDING INVITATIONS and Accessories PORT PERRY STAR 235 Queen Street Port Perry 985-7383 McKeon, Matthew and Michelle of Woodville were visitors. The Hunter Family Christmas gathering was held at the lovely home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Hunter in Saintfield on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson have returned to their home in Moose Jaw, Sask. They had dinner with his mother Mrs. Simpson of Trinity Manor on Friday and really enjoyed - visiting all their friends and relatives at Christmas time. Mr. and Mrs. Geronamo and family enjoyed a two day visit away from the store. They spent the holi- day with her brother and family in Strathroy. Happy New Year to everyone! and their families. The Funeral was held on Wed. from Wagg Funeral Home. Fred Marlow is home from Halifax for the holiday with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Marlow. Ann Marlow of Barrie also spent some of the holiday with her parents and brother. Craig Paisley who works as a Television news broadcaster at Por- tage La Prairie spent the holiday week with his father Gordon Paisley and Cathy who is home from Ryer- son. They spent Christmas with the Paisley family gathering in Dunnville. Merlin Bailey and Katherine Bur- nie of London spent Christmas week with the Neil Bailey's and visited other relatives of the area. On Christmas Day, Mr. Stan Corden of - Bowmanville, Roy and Catherine Corden, Julie and Christie joined them for a family gathering. On Christmas Day, Don and Shirley Gibson and family entertain- ed Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dowson and family of Port Perry. On Saturday, Catherine Corden and girls, Katherine Burnie and Elaine Bailey visited cousins in Peterborough. Christmas Eve dinner guests of Gerald and Joyce Kelly and girls were John and Helen Coates and girls, Mrs. Noreen Dale and Mary, Murray Blair of Oakwood. John Larmer of Fredricton, New Brunswick, and Mrs. Rena Snowden of Bowmanville are spending the holiday time with Ralph and Peggy Larmer. Paul Larmer of Guelph was with them on Christmas Eve and Day, and joined with Dave and Ingrid Larmer and Robert for a Larmer family Christmas hosted by Eric and Sharon Goulding and family. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Byers spent Christmas and a few days with their daughter Janice and Les Bushfield and family of London.
