A spokesman for Durham Regional Police said Monday morning details of the accident won't be known until an investigation is completed. The driver of one of the cars was Yvonne Degeuse of Port Perry and the other car was registered in the name of Gunter Gerhardt of Pickering. The ac- cident took place just before mid- night at the intersection of the Sonley Side Road and Durham 21. The driver of the truck, 20 year old Tony Kersten of RR4, Port Perry was taken to Port Perry Hospital with head and other in- juries. . A passenger in the truck, 21 year old Steve Trevena, also of RR 4, Port Perry, was transferred to | local man, injures two Sunnybrook Medical Centre in serious condition with internal in- juries. A police spokesman said Monday morning the accident was still un- der investigation and few details were released about the cause. Both vehicles were described as write-offs.
