Keith and Faye Ashton, Doug and Beth Wilson, Gord and Jill Postma, Gerald and Nancy Hill enjoyed din- ner out together, then went to Toron- to to see the "Cats," show in Toronto. Earl and Elizabeth Taylor en- joyed, "My Fair Lady" musical in Port Perry one evening last week. Congratulations to the local talent from our area who participated. Dini Page and Glenn visited Mr. and Mrs. Vic Page of Thornhill on Saturday while Barry Page accom- panied the First Scugog Scouts who camped out for the weekend near Blackstock. Stella and Don Asling were at Emsdale for a couple of days. On Sunday they visited his mother, Mrs. Alma Asling at Fairview Lodge; and his brother Walter and his wife Hazel at Ajax. Walter's son Bill and daughter Wanda and their families also called on Walt to wish him a happy birthday. We 'wish for good news from Howard Ashton who is a patient in Uxbridge Hospital. Hazel Asling"s "mother Mrs. Ballard is also in hospital and we wish her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Andrews presented their children to be Christened at church on Sunday. Congratulations to Ken and Ann- Marie Svendsen on the birth of their son last Thursday. Carl Hansen visited with Linda and Wayne Ford at Port Hoover. Carl and Judy Hansen of Scar- borough visited their mother for the weekend. Recently Mrs. H. Ross attended the Hospital Auxiliary Convention in Toronto as a provincial delegate and was pleased to share her accom- modations with the Uxbridge delegate. ~ On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ross had supper with Joanne and Ted Redshaw in Uxbridge. ROBINSON -- CARNAGHAN Balls Falls Historical Church in Vineland, was the setting for the marriage of Caroline Jean Carnaghan and Derrick Martin Russell Robinson on August 24, 1986. The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Carnaghan of Blackstock wore her Grandmother's heirloom dress: The groom is the son of Mrs. David Robinson of St. Catharines.
