Doctors, nurses and ad- ministrative personnel work very hard to maintain high standards in every area. © We are very fortunate to also have an excellent volunteer group, who . are dedicated to the patients' care and comfort. Volunteers work on the floor, assist in the Physio-Therapy Department, and hold three activa- tion periods weekly, including crafts and games for transient patients. These cheerful, caring volunteer ladies provide many services that are much appreciated by patients "and staff alike. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, such as moving out of the Port Perry area, our staff dwindles. We now need more volunteers if we are to continue to provide an ef- ficient service. Anyone who might be interested in giving a few hours of their spare time a week will find a warm welcome awaiting them. Experience is not needed, and training is available. Working as a Volunteer is a rewarding and satisfying ex- perience, bringing a feeling of self- fulfillment as well.
