"Thank You" hardly seems enough to express the true feel- ings of the Caribbean Festival Days organizers after such a tremendous weekend. To say that the Festival was a success would surely be an understatement. The Festival Days Committee are overwhelmed by the response of the merchants, organizations, volunteers and the general public. The decorations, the enthusiasm and the par- ticipation was all more than even we had thought possible. There are many people who helped to make the weekend the success it was and at the risk of missing someone we feel they must be thanked for their efforts. The Scugog Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Golden Griddle Pancake House, Lake Scugog Lumber, Glen VanCamp, Brent Taylor, Catherine Millar, Sarah Elliott, Marg Waite, Terry Fox, Linda "Grills, Rick Larocque Electric, Compton Cable TV, Township of Scugog, Judy McColl, Doreen Kendall, Dennis Anderson Chev-Olds, Scala Bros., Port Perry Fire Department, Ray's Towing, Stedmans, Rent & Save and Durham Region Police Force. We would also like to express our thanks to all the merchants and organizers who decorated their stores, outfitted their staff and went to considerable expense to make our Caribbean weekend a colourful and exciting place to visit. Many thanks from all of us, Peter Hvidsten Jack Cottrell Larry Emmerson Wayne Luke CARIBBEAN FESTIVAL DAYS COMMITTEE SCUGOG CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
