After the din- ner the festivities moved to Cart- wright Public School where Connie Denault served as Master of Ceremonies. Remarks from the Board of Education were expressed by Mrs. Joyce Kelly; greetings from Meet the top graduates of the Class of '86 from R.H. Cornish. . Barb Brooks and Alec Cranmer were voted the two most outstan- ding students of the school, Cartwright High School came from Mr. Eric Fletcher; and Mr. John Hinch brought remarks as prin- cipal. At this point Mr. Friede and Mr. Kitchen led a group in a musical interlude followed by an eXcelient Valedictorian speech delivered by Jennifer Fletcher. "Blest Be The Tie That Binds' opened the meeting. Scripture was taken from Cor. chapter 13 read by Irene. Lila spoke of the UUM.S., W.A. & U.C.W. work that was carried on by an In- dian lady among her native people followed by prayer. Second Hymn "They'll Know We Are Christians By Our Love" Rev. King of P~fferlaw, spoke on his work among the Indians at Curve Lake and closed with an In- dian prayer.
