Jeff Kemp had a double and a triple while An- dy Wilson hit a double and scored 3 runs for his home town. Stephen Parish drive in numerous runs with his well placed hits. JUNE 11 The Port Perry game between Alan Siding and Gulf was marred with drizzle, but the Gulf team stood victorious 19-6. Jeremy Norton belted a 3 run triple and Chad Kearns had 3 important outs for the defensive side of the Gulf team. Rev. Glenn Jackson and Rev. Robert McLauchlin officiated. The bride's parents are Dawn and Hilton Ireland of Port Perry and the groom is the son of Margaret and Charles McDonald of Oshawa. Deborah wore a floor length gown of white chiffon. The fitted chantilly lace and pearl-trimmed bodice featured a scooped neckline edged with deep lace ruffles. The full skirt swept into a cathedral train lavishly ruffled with chantilly lace. Her derby ha., styled in chiffon and chantilly lace sprinkled with seed pearls and sequins held a two-tier romance-length veil of French illusion. She carried a cascading bouquet of two-toned pink and white carnations accented with baby's breath. The maid of honour was Angela Fielding of Port Perry. Bridesmaids were Debbie Kowalczyk of Oshawa, Cathy Grabowski and Lee Anne Middleton of Port Perry, and Amanda Tyreman of Toronto, all friends of the bride. The best man was Dan Watson of Oshawa. Ushers were Gifford MacKen- zie and Scott Coulson of Oshawa, Dan (Rudy) Kvasnak of Blackstock, friends of the groom and Bob Ireland of Port Perry, brother of the bride. The reception and dance were held at Dnipr Hall, Oshawa Master of Ceremonies was Bill McDonald, brother of the groom Mr. and Mrs. McDonald spent their honeymoon in Montego Bay. Ja. .aica and are residing in Oshawa. The Seagrave team was vic- torious at home over the Norm Tripp team 16-11. Thief grabs $5,000 Durham Regional Police are in- vestigating a day-time robbery at Settlement House in Port Perry which resulted in the loss of nearly $5,000 in cash, credit card slips and cheques. According to police, the theft took place in the busy store Saturday afternoon. The money, receipts and cheques were in a bag in an office at the rear of the store. They were discovered missing later in the afternoon. Tom Mitchell, owner of Settle- ment House, is asking any customer who made a hase on Saturday by credit or personal cheque to bring their receipts into the store so that a check can be made to determine if the credit card slip or cheque is among those missing. Durham Police are investigating another theft from a Queen Street store, which took place either Fri- day afternoon or Saturday morning. Pearce Jewellers reports an 18kt. white and yellow gold ladies dia- mond ring was taken from a display case at the frort of the store. The ring is valued at about $2200.
