14 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, June 3, 1986 An uplifting religious performance Cantata Group at United high school and college aged young people gave an up-lifting presenta- tion of song which was received with a standing ovation. A Sunday School practice will be held on Friday after school until 4:45 p.m. This practice is in preparation for the Blaé¢kstock Sunday School Anniversary to be held on June 8th (next Sunday) with guest speaker Beulah Buckwald. The list of local graduates has grown by at least three more after this weekend. On Friday, Karen Joyce Duivesteyn graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Science Honour Degree on the Dean's Honour List. Attending on her behalf were her parents Tony and Margaret Duivesteyn, Ivan and Angela. On Saturday another hap- py event happened for the Duives- teyn family. Ivan James Duivesteyn received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Degree with second class honours from the University of Waterloo. Tony and Margaret Duivesteyn, David and Linda McKague, Peter, Karen, Anthony and Angela Duives- teyn all attended the reception following the ceremony. On Saturday E. .abeth Anne Kel- ly received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Religion at the Convocation Exercises at Queen's University in Kingston. At- tending were Gerald and Joyce Kel- ly and grandmother, Mrs. William Kelly of Bobcaygeon.
