I usually tell you of all the spring signs I have enjoyed, but because fsuch terrible roads I had . to concentrate on the pot holes and try not to get stuck. One day I did see an Osprey perch high in a dead tree, what a huge beautiful bird. The United Church Women held their Annual Church Service on Sun- day with Mrs. Charlene Shephard as the guest speaker. Her theme was Pioneer Women in the Church of Canada, telling how difficult it was for women to be able to take a ministering place in the Church and went on to show, with the help of women of the congregation, on how women are ministers in their own home. A big congratulations to all the students of Greenbank School who participated in their Spring Pro- gramme held at Sunderland Town Hall last Thursday evening. This years concert was called "Let Us Entertain You' which included the play Alice in Wonderland. It was a terrific performance and you made a lot of parents very proud. Also a big thank-you and well done to our teachers for the great success. Also the Annual Spring round of chicken-pox and measles have some of the students home from school.
