The Oshawa team proved to be too strong for Cochranes as they skated to a 7-1 victory. Cochrane's goal was scored by Jon David Rodway assisted by Ron Halligan. Best Ef- fort trophies were presented to Cochrane's goalie Kevin Gassien who faced an endless barrage of shots, and to Murray Anderson for Oshawa. Port Perry Emmerson Insurance played a strong game to defeat Bowmanville KOOL 4-2 in game two.
