Blurry-eyed parents thrill to Pee Wees Emiel's Place - 2 Scala Bros. - 2 Defense was the name of the game Saturday, which resulted in two excellent games. The first game between Emiel's Place and Scala Bros. soon brought blurry eyed mothers and fathers to their feet. Fast end to end action, excellent goaltending and strong defense came from both teams. An early -goal by Daryl Dutkewich from Greg Kyle at 4:09 of the first period gave Emiel's Place a good start but Mike Butt unassisted quickly tied the score at 5:58. Daryl Dutkewich notched his se- cond goal of the game at 3:58 of the second period unassisted. Hard work held that lead until 11:10 of the third period when Mike Bardeleben put a well directed pass on the stick of Mike Butt who found the mark for his second goal and the final for both teams. It was easy to see the ex- cellent coaching techniques were extended to the fullest. % OFF . ALL HOCKEY EQUIPMENT - Larocque Electric - 6 Frank Real Estate - 0. The Electric boys welcomed back their old team mate, Lee Phillips, by skating to an "electrifying" 6-0 win over the Frank boys. Phillips show- ed his satisfaction by scoring a hat trick, two of the goals being unassisted. Mark Tomkiewicz found the spot twice and Ken Winslow add- ed one. Assists went to Todd Saulnier 1, Rick and Shawn Laroc- que one each. The return of Lee was just the spark that the Electric boys needed, as their play over the past several months seemed to have low voltage. The defense of David Volman, Jeff Labanovich, and Richard and Shawn Larocque was stronger than ever, providing good protection from Brian Madill who played superb between the pipes. All the boys played hard and ran at high voltage throughout the game. Frank Real Estate had some excellent scoring chances but just couldn't pull tke plug.
