It was hard, if not impossible, to stay on a diet when faced with the scrumptious selection of main dishes and desserts brought in by our own culinary experts. Following the delightful supper, there was a lot of laughter and Christmas spirit as we exchanged gifts and sang carols. Members of our dutch community entertained us with songs in their native language. We are all hoping they will be going on tour soon. The entertainment award of the evening goes to our own president - Louise Hartney! Her comical skit brought tears of laughter to our eyes. Her talent should not go unnoticed, therefore, we are planning to nominate her for next year's Oscar! I'm sure that all who attended these festivities went home with the cheer and joy of Christmas in their hearts. We would like to share this hap- piness and the wonder of this season with all the members of our com- munity.
