Crandell's Dave Mann opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the first period. Early in the second period Ken Smart converted a pass from Bill Van Camp to tie the game at 1. One minute later Dave Mann scored his second goal, assisted by Lee Steeves to put Crandells ahead 2-1 with 3 minutes left to play in the game Sportsland's Ken Smart tied the game at 2, assisted by Bill Van Camp and Ron Zaparaniuk. 50 seconds later Ron Zaparaniuk put Sportsland in the lead 3-2, assisted by Bill Van Camp. Crandells stormed back to equal the score with just 1:20 left to play on Dave Mann's third goal, assisted by Donovan Smith and Lee Steeves. Port doubles up 4-2 On Saturday, November 2, the Port Perry Legionaires hosted Lit- tle Britain in an exhibition match and defeated them 4-2 in a hard fought game. The scoring was opened by Jarett Harman assisted by Eric Grosvenor and Brett Puckrin which awarded Port the only goal of the first period. Little Britain scored to tie the game in the second period and that finished the scoring for the second period. In the third period Little Britain jumped ahead to take the lead but Port answered with three more goals. The first goal was scored by Brian Appleby and shot from the point assisted by Eric Grosvenor. Brian then skated the length of the ice and put away his second goal of the game, he was unassisted. Jarett Harman scored the final goal of the game and he was assisted by Jason Towns. The final score was Port Perry 4 and Little Britain 2. Port's next home game will be played Friday, November 8, 9 P.M. against Oshawa Little NHL Canadiens. Port Perry is hosting the zone level Mixed Competition from December 6th to 9th Good luck also to Ted Griffen's rink, which is curling in the Senior Mixed Competition at Whitby on December 7th to 9th.
