Our congratulations to Janet Simmon- ds, grade 13 graduate and valedic- torian for her class. Others receiving certificates were Debbie Powell, Glen and Mark Kerry, highest standing for 1985; Susan Holy, Janet Hofstee, Ken Langille, Robt. Page, Julie Ashton, Reg Maharaj, Elizabeth Crammer and Heidi Spannbaur, all these pupils were pupils at Epsom School. We wish them much suc- cess in years ahead. Congratulations also to Janice Evans who was awarded Grade XI geography prize. France is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Svendsen and girls. They all visited Ann-Marie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hortop of St. Am's on the weekend. Mr. Kenneth Jeffery of Parry Sound visited Mr. and Mrs. G. Jef- fery for a couple of days last week. On Friday Miss Alvena Jeffery of Orillia was a dinner guest. Our deepest sympathy is exten- ded to the Andrews family in the tragic passing of John Andrews, age 12, son of Jack Andrews of Seagrave, grandson of Frank An- drews. The afternoon tea and bake sale at the school was a huge success enjoyed by many. Darlene Christie, Sharon Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Breznikar and Maria attended Derek Ellicott's second birthday party at Blackstock on Sat. Our deepest sympathy to the Wilson families in the loss of Lloyd Wilson. Several from our com- munity attended the funeral last Thursday. On Sat. the 4-H Awards Banquet "and presentation was held at U.S.C. Congratulations to our local trophy winners, Scott Wilson, Janice and Wendy Evans, Glen and Mark Kerry. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wilson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson were Sunday luncheon guests of Miss Ruby Wilson, Ux- bridge. Sincere sympathy to the Not- tingham family on the loss of Mrs. Nottingham"s father, Mr. George Brown. Sun. guests with Mr. and Mrs. Don Asling were Mr. and Mrs. Ar- thur Powell also Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ryall of Fenelon Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson en- joyed visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elford at the home of Marie's mother Mrs. W.0. Simpson of Ux- bridge on Sun. afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Novaks of Sandford and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wilson and Jean called on Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson on Sun. evening. Mrs. Dini Page attended the On- tario Spinners and Weavers Con- vention in Thunder Bay recently. Don't forget the Beef Supper at Utica Hall Thurs. Nov. 7 from 6 to 7. Church members have tickets for sale. Mr. Barry Page took some T.M.R. and High School students on a camping trip to Kellarney Park recently. ~ On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Barry Page entertained her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Van Someren of Port Perry and Rob's aunt and uncle from Richmond Hill in honour of Rob's graduation. There was a beautiful anniver- sary service at Utica Church on Sun. After service to make it very special, several families invited members to their home for lunch. We thank them most sincerely.
