Another baby for Croxall family Utica and Area News by Vera Brown Congratulations to John and Sharon Croxall and girls on the ar- rival of yet one more, yes another girl, Janine Lillian arrived on Mon- day afternoon. Birthday greetings to Shelley Croxall who has a 6th birth- day this week. The Epsom-Utica Anniversary service will be held this Sunday at 11:15 a.m. in Utica Church. Sunday School will be held at the same time as church. We bid a bon farewell to Darryl and Carol Lindsay and boys who, this weekend, moved into their new home in Epsom. Mildred Thompson attended the appreciation supper for the ladies of the Orange Lodge at Utica Hall on Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Yent from Canfield called on Mildred on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Gary Hinchcliffe of Toronto spent the weekend with her sister- in-law Denise Carre and family. Mr. Gary Hinchcliffe and Mr. Fred Sheehy dropped in on Saturday evening on their way home from a ELECT HARVEY GRAHAM day of hunting before returning to Toronto, Euchre winners on Friday even- ing were Ladies 1st Bernice Wells, 2nd Jean Ward and low Jean Pogue. Men's 1st Caroline Haugh, 2nd Bill Brown and low Lloyd Pogue. Freeze-out winners were Dora Geer and Bernice Loudfoot, 2nd were Bernice Wells and Mary Poots. There will be another euchre in two weeks. There will be a dance in Utica Hall this Saturday with music by the 'Back Woods' band. Mrs Hilda Bailey, Alan and Mrs Dora Geer visited on Sunday with Mrs. Dougall (Verna) McKinley who 1s a patient in hospital in Toronto. Recent visitors at the Sutchffe home were Doris and Brenda Bray, Helen, Linda and Chris Crawford, Uxbridge and Sharon Morrissey and son Joshua of Oshawa. Don and Kathy Trump of Toron- to were visiting her mother Helen Goslin on the weekend and they all spent Saturday evening at the Glenn Goslin home at Blackstock. Glen and daughter Annette Goslin treated Mrs. Helen Goslin to a Friday sup- per out Baby outfits needed by Luella Graham The monthly meeting of the Port Perry Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary was held on October 21 with 20 ladies present. The President, Mary Cannon, opened the meeting with all repeating the Auxiliary prayer in unison. The Secretary's report was given by Bonnie Gerrow and ap- proved as such. Hazel Coates thanked all those for lovely knitted articles sent in but baby outfits are very badly needed. So if any lady can knit any baby out- fits, they will indeed be most appreciated. Bonnie Gerrow reported 9 girls and 9 boys arrived at the hospital in the last month. She also thanked the ladies who do so many of these, also to the ones who decorate them. Mary Cannon had attended the Conference in Haliburton and reported a most informative meeting. The Hospital dance is be- ing held on November 2 at the Lat- cham Centre, so come on out you folks, and have an evening of fun. Under new business our bake sale being held on December 6th was discussed, also an evening of craft work is being held at Bonnie Ger- row's on November 7th, so ladies do come and bring your good ideas along.
