Ladies of the community are in- vited to attend a bridal shower for Judy Thordarson (nee Rodd) at the home of her parents, Jean and Cliff Rodd on Saturday, November 2nd at 2 p.m. Visitors admire and Greenbank residents take pride in our com- munity park with its numerous recreational facilities, enjoying the beauty of corner parkland, flowers and trees which are given tender loving care by volunteers who spend many hours in maintaining lawns, flowerbeds and painting equipment - asking only that others respect these public places and enjoy these facilities in the ways they are designed to be used. Now it seems there are a few mixed-up in- dividuals in our area who wish to destroy the beauty of our village by senseless acts of vandalism. It is hoped that these people will soon see the folly of their actions and turn their energies into acts of building up rather than destroying their surroundings.
