Utica Church 8 p.m. On Friday night, October 28, at 7 p.m. at Utica, there will be a Hallowe'en party at Utica Church for all the children whom we hope will come in costume and bring their mothers and some finger food. Everyone welcome. The Epsom-Utica Church beef supper will be November 7 at Utica Hall. Tickets available from - members. That same day there will be a Bazaar in the Auditorium of the Hall opening at 2:30 p.m. Par- ticulars in 'Coming Events.' The teachers of our school have decided not to have the children go- ing from door to door selling something. This year the children will try other projects for fund rais- ing. The first being a bake sale and tea to be held in the original school October 29 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. There will be door prizes and a raffle . Bring small children for there will be babysitting available. There will be other projects dur- ing the year but come and meet your neighbours and have a "fun" time "with the children. School rooms this Friday at 7 p.m. Old and young alike are invited to join in this activity and the adults are asked to please bring finger desserts. Refreshments will be supplied. There will also be a euchre in Utica Hall on Friday at 8 p.m. Epsom Public School is having a Tea and Bake Sale on Tuesday Oc- tober 29th from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Old Epsom School. This is the first of the student's events plann- ed to raise money instead of selling products door to door, so please sup- port your community school and have a nice afternoon break at the same time. There will be a raffle and door prizes and baby sitting is available. The Church is having a beef sup- per on Thursday, November 7th from 6-7 p.m. in Utica Hall. For tickets and more information please note the ad in the papers. The U.C.W. are also holding a bazaar and bake sale which starts at 2:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to donate to this event please contact Lil Lindsay or Irene Fielding. Mrs. Crosier spent Thanksgiving week with Mr. and Mrs. W. Scott in London. Mrs. Jean Scott visited her mother on Thursday and Friday. Susan Hughes of Toronto and Charlie Brown of Kingston were Sunday supper guests at the William Brown home. Mildred Thompson was a Satur- day supper guest with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Clarke of Marsh Hill to celebrate their son Ryan's birthday. Sunday dinner guests with Mildred were Mr. Bob Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Anderson of Toronto and Mr. and Mrs. William Kirton of Mount Albert. Lorne and Eileen Slute spent Thanksgiving Day with son Brian and family at Cookstown.
