Although Bryan does dabble in oils and other artistic mediums, the library show will consist mostly of abstract landscapes, with a few watercolours thrown in for balance. At the University of Guelph, he gain- ed experience in printmaking, pain- ting, drawing, sculpture and photography but it's obvious from talking to him that drawing is his first love. "The actual gestures of how you draw on a page 1s the emotional part of the work, he says For him, landscape drawing is the best way he knows to put that emotion into effect. Minor injuries in car crash A 64 year old Mount Albert man suffered minor injuries in a two car accident on Highway 12 at Myrtle on Thanksgiving Monday. A spokesperson for the Whitby OPP detachment said Kenneth Mit- chell was a passenger in a 1983 Oldsmobile driven by his wife Marion. The car was northbound at the in- tersection of Durham Road 5, when struck by a westbound vehicle driven by 28 year old Thomas Maloney of Oshawa. Police estimated damage to the Mitchell vehicle at about $3000, while Maloney's 1971 GMC half-ton was banged up to the tune of about $6000. Maloney has been charged by police under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to stop.
